Problems with conceptronic CCSeru

I have a problem with the CCSeru usb to serial converter. I was trying to connect a Modem to a PC without serial port. I tried to contact with the technical support of conceptronic, but they told me that the problem was my application.

The problem seems to be that when the CTS, DCD and DSR lines are all enabled, the usb to serial adapter it is not able to send data. And this happens only with the version 2 of this adapter, not with the version 1.

We have been testing this with different units of the cable, and the only solution seems to be cutting one pin of the serial adapter.

If this has happended to you, please try to contact too with the technical support of conceptronic. I can send you the answers that I have received, and maybe if more people complains, they can try to solve the problem.
